THE DUSKFALL Complete Work On Sophomore Album
September 28, 2003Luleå, Sweden-based metallers THE DUSKFALL have completed work on their sophomore CD, "Source", tentatively due in November through Greece's Black Lotus Records. "The recordings resulted in 9 tracks and the bandmembers are more than pleased with this beast," reads a post on the group's web site. The album was recorded at Dug-Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden and the music on the CD is being described as "darker, faster, more melodical and catchy as hell!" A track off "Source", titled "Across The Eyes", can be downloaded in MP3 format from this location. The forthcoming album is the group's first with new guitarist Joachim Lindbäck, who replaced previous axeman Glenn earlier this year.
In other news, THE DUSKFALL have been confirmed for the Nordic Rage Festival, a one-day event set to take place November 8 in Boden, Sweden. Also set to appear at the festival are SATARIEL, SLOWGATE, MEMORY GARDEN and MEDUZA. For more information, click here.
